Alvaton Church of Christ has six meal teams that rotate weekly. The meal teams are comprised of a captain, a co-captain and 8 to 10 members. Meals are prepared and delivered for members who have extra needs. Home-cooked meals are delivered to those who are sick, have had recent surgery, moved, lost a loved one, or just need extra encouragement. During your meal week there is also the opportunity to check on our widows, widowers, and home-bound members.
You can contact Floyd Mosley (270.843.8825) if you are interested in working with a team of members to help serve in this ministry. Men & women are welcome! Each group has their own way of coordinating. Meal teams can always use your skills and talents to help contribute!
We are all called to serve and love one another, 1 Corinthians 13:13. A team captain can provide more information.
