What kind of people worship at the Alvaton Church of Christ?
We are a diverse group of people, coming from various backgrounds, coming from all parts of the community. Our membership is at different stages of knowledge and spiritual growth.
We don't know everything. We don't do everything right. We try to treat others as we want to be treated, but sometimes we fail.We are on a journey through an earthly life on our way to a spiritual eternity.
We are not brought together by any illusion of our perfection or righteousness. We have been brought together by our recognition that we are sinners in need of the cleansing blood of Jesus.

This is the reason we can worship together, stick together and with Gods help, accomplish some things that make a difference in this world we live in.
You want look far to find our failures, but the bottom line is, you will find people who love Jesus, love Gods word and love each other, as we serve the savior and love the lost.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
